A space to talk about your health, in your own time

Looking after your health isn’t always easy to prioritise – especially when life gets busy. But setting aside time to talk about your body, your hormones or your symptoms can make a big difference to how you feel day-to-day.

At JOGG, we’ve created a welcoming, judgement-free space where you can come in with any concern – no matter how small or personal it might seem. Our Women’s Health GP brings a calm, thoughtful approach to general women’s health care, offering guidance and support in a relaxed environment.

You don’t need a reason to check in with your health. If something doesn’t feel right – or you simply want peace of mind – we’re here for that.

What does a Women’s Health GP do?

A Women’s Health GP is trained in general practice but with additional expertise in the specific health issues that affect women and gender-diverse patients throughout life. Their role is broad – they’re here to help with everything from preventative care to ongoing health management and referrals when specialist input is needed.

Some of the most common areas we support include:

  • Period problems (pain, heavy bleeding, irregular cycles)
  • PCOS, endometriosis and other hormonal conditions
  • Contraceptive counselling and prescriptions (including IUD insertion)
  • Menopause and perimenopause care
  • Cervical screening (CST / Pap smears) and breast checks
  • STI testing and sexual health advice
  • Fertility planning and pre-pregnancy care
  • General wellbeing, mental health, and lifestyle advice

Managing longer-term conditions

Many women live with gynaecological conditions that need ongoing care and monitoring – like endometriosis, PCOS, or chronic pelvic pain. A Women’s Health GP can help coordinate that care, monitor symptoms, and offer treatment plans that are realistic and supportive of your lifestyle.

And if you ever need to see one of our gynaecologists, you don’t need to start again. We’re in the same clinic, so referrals are quick, and communication is seamless.

When care is connected, it’s not just faster – it’s safer, and patients feel more supported. That’s one of the biggest advantages of being part of this team.
